August’s birth flowers are the ethereal poppy and dreamy gladiolus, as featured in this original graphite drawing. The symbolism of the poppy flower is dependent on the colour, for example red is synonymous with pleasure and yellow with wealth and success, whilst gladiolus is thought to represent strength and integrity. The artwork is available mounted and ready to fit into a standard size frame (10x10”) – photograph of framed artwork provided for illustrative purposes, frame is not supplied. The drawing will be mounted (10×10 inches) and ready to fit into a standard size frame. The mount board comprises a neutral soft white outer, with a green inner mount.
